Throwing a big and successful wedding is an achievement that is well earned due to the fact that there are so many details to attend to. Large weddings are back in vogue today, finding many couples eager to build long and quite extensive guests lists.
A big wedding often requires that several people work behind the scenes on nearly a full time basis. The days leading up to the event make for some long and stressful hours as decorations must be put into place and final arrangements made with clergy, caterers and bartenders.
Unfortunately, many couples who plan large and elaborate weddings fail to offer wedding programs to their guests. A wedding program is an elegant courtesy extended to those in attendance as it allows the guests to follow along and get acquainted with the members of the wedding party that they may not know. Programs are also ideal if you are having a religious wedding with guests who are of another faith.
It is also recommended that large weddings have a wedding guest book on hand so that the guests can sign in. This allows you to later look through all of the names and well wishes. A guest book is a lovely and memorable keepsake to be treasured and passed on to further generations.
